Nintendo has finally dropped the prices of their last gen handhelds. The DSi will now cost $100 and the DSi XL $130. This now means that the DSi XL will not cost more than the 3DS which is how its supposed to be.

Excitebike 3D free for 30 days, Pokedex 3D free forever
When the eShop launches on June 6th there will be two free pieces of software. Pokedex 3D which will be free forever and Excitebike which will only be free for 30 days.
This update will also allow you to transfer your DSiWare purchases from a DSi or DSi XL.

Details on Pokemon Black/White video chat for 3DS/DSi and more
- DSi/3DS exclusive feature: Live Caster
- Live Caster must be obtained in-game
- Live Caster allows video chats with friends
- 4-player over local wireless or 2 player over wi-fi for Live Caster use
- Pass By mode: using the C Gear, you can connect with other players when you walk by them
- Details on what these Pass By mode connects do have not been revealed
- order in which your Pokemon take during triple battles plays into the damage calculations
- High Link feature: massive overworld hub that allows you to walk up to other players and offer help in the form of mission
- High Link feature is located in the Isshu region
Remember, the 4 player video chat is only over local wireless but the 2 player video chat can be done over wi-fi.

Beginning January 30th to February 14th, head to GameStop to get a unique Shiny Pichu for your Pokémon Diamond, Pearl or Platinum Version game!

There's also a secret that you'll uncover if you trade this Pichu to HeartGold or SoulSilver.

Nintendo Announces Different Colors
Nintendo announces different colors for the Wii and DSi. Unfortunately these are only for Japan so stare at these images in jealousy.
GDC - DSi Games
Along with the DSi, there's going to be two types of DS games. One will be the "DSi Card" which will ONLY play on the DSi and not the regular DS. The other will be the "DSi Enhanced Cards" which CAN play on the regular DS but will have extra features when you play it on the DSi.

Nintendo has finally announced the release date for the DSi. Nintendo's latest handheld will hit North America on April 5th and will retail for $169.99.
Better start figuring out what to do with your old DS because there's no resisting Nintendo's power.
