Pokémon Black and White 2 trailers and Keldeo/Genesect event news

Don't forget to pick up your Keldeo for Pokemon Black and White from your local GameStop. 

The deadline is October 6th and if you transfer Keldeo to Black and White 2 you’ll be able to "complete an in-game event that will teach Keldeo its signature Secret Sword move and reveal a new form for the Pokémon."

As for Genesect you'll to get him via a "special distribution event" for Pokémon Black and White 2 starting on launch day, October 7th.

Arceus now available to download

The fans voted on which people they wanted to befriend and Arceus was the winner. As a result everyone can now download the level 100 mythical pokemon.

To receive Arceus go to the Pokémon Global Link, log in, and use this password ARCEUSVOTE on the Promotions section. After that simply use Game Sync to bring it to your Pokemon Black or White game. Since this is only available for a limited time get while you can.

After being delayed from it's initial release date, the Pokemon Global Link is now live. At the Global Link website you can access the “Dream World” and the “Global Battle Union.”

UPDATE: Pokemon Global Link launches end of March and free Victini out now

Have you been trying to activate the Game Sync feature on your Pokemon Black or White only to receive an error? Well that's because the feature isn't live yet. Nintendo is planning to launch it on March 30. 

While you wait you might as well download the Liberty Pass to find Victini. To get the Liberty Pass you need to download it from Mystery Gift via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service and you only have until April 10th to do it. Here's the official step by step guide if you need it.

UPDATE: Because of the recent earthquakes in Japan, the Pokemon Gobal Link launch has been delayed temporarily. No word yet on when the new date will be.

Catch your own free Celebi

You can catch your very own Celebi right now by going to the Pokemon Black and White Tour which began on February 5. Oh, what's that? You're not able to make the trip out to the 14 cities it's running through. Well fret not, Nintendo is giving you the option of downloading Celebi via your local Gamestop. But you better hurry because you only have until March 6.

Once you have Celebi there are special scenarios that you can discover. The first is when you transfer your Celebi to your Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver game and take Celebi to the Shrine in Ilex Forest. It will cause you to go back in time and fight Team Rocket boss Giovanni.

The second scenario happens when you transfer your Celebi to Pokemon Black or White. It will unlock the opportunity to catch Zorua. Pokemon Black and Pokemon White will be available on March 6.

Pokemon Black/White sells 2.63 million units in first two days

 

Woah! Just when people thought the Japanese gaming market was dying, Pokemon Black and White sells 2.63 million units in it's first two days in Japan. This makes it the biggest amount of copies sold for a game in it's first two days... ever. Yes it even surpassed Dragon Quest. I can only imagine how much this game is going to sell when the rest of the world finally get their hands on it.

Details on Pokemon Black/White video chat for 3DS/DSi and more

- DSi/3DS exclusive feature: Live Caster
- Live Caster must be obtained in-game
- Live Caster allows video chats with friends
- 4-player over local wireless or 2 player over wi-fi for Live Caster use
- Pass By mode: using the C Gear, you can connect with other players when you walk by them
- Details on what these Pass By mode connects do have not been revealed
- order in which your Pokemon take during triple battles plays into the damage calculations
- High Link feature: massive overworld hub that allows you to walk up to other players and offer help in the form of mission
- High Link feature is located in the Isshu region

Remember, the 4 player video chat is only over local wireless but the 2 player video chat can be done over wi-fi.

Pokemon White/Black to be revealed on April 15th

Looks like there is going to be an announcement on the 15th regarding Pokemon White/Black, though I'm pretty sure the news will get out before then. So far that image (seen above) is the only thing we know about the game. I hope the game is awesome, but I also hope the release date is still far away.

...I just want to finish enjoying my Soulsilver is that so bad?
