Wii U controller redesign leaked online

For a brief moment this picture was leaked onto twitter before being taken down. Of course nothing on the internet is ever really erased so hear it is.

As you can see there are a couple changes to this version of the controller compared to the one from E3 2011.

The first thing that sticks out (okay I'm sorry about that pun) are the analog sticks which have replaced the slide pads also found in the 3DS. Now personally I like the slide pads on my 3DS but there's one problem with them, they don't click. For a handheld that's fine but for console games (especially shooters) R3 and L3 are essential.

RUMOR: Assassin's Creed 3 image leaked out [Update: confirmed]

This is supposedly promotional art for Assassin's Creed 3 taken by a Best Buy employee. AC 3 will take place during the American Revolution and the image points to the hero being a Native American.

Assassin's Creed 3 is slated to arrive by the end of October.

UPDATE: It has been confirmed as real and Ubisoft has even released the boxart which can be found past the jump.

What is Call Of Duty Elite?

The leaked video above explains what exactly is Call Of Duty Elite. There have been rumors about a paid subscription to Call of Duty games for years. Well we can finally put that to rest because playing your Call of Duty games online is still free.

The optional subscription you'll be paying for is actually for Call Of Duty Elite which includes all the extras found in the video as well as that years map packs. Not all portions of Elite will cost money though, some features like the Facebook-inspired Groups will be free to all. Activision hasn't put a price on the subscription yet but we expect more news as we creep closer to E3.

RUMOR: New Nintendo console details surface

Some details on Nintendo's next console have surfaced. Of course none of this has been confirmed but these are supposed credible sources. According to the reports:

• New console is codenamed "Project Cafe"
• Is backwards compatible with Wii software
• Is significantly more powerful than the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 
• Capable of 1080p resolutions
• Reveal expected at E3
• New controller will feature dual analog sticks and standard d-pad and trigger buttons. It'll mirror a Gamecube controller in general function but not in specific form.
• Controller to feature touch screen
• Players will be able to stream game content from the console to the controller's screen
• Set to launch late 2012

E3 09: PSP Go Leaked

Rumors have been flying around about a new PSP for a long time now. With E3 just around the corner many people believed that there would be an announcement.
