What's up with Final Fantasy Versus XIII
Wondering what's up with Final Fantasy Versus XII? I was sure Square Enix would show the game at TGS but the event came and went and still no new info, so what gives.
Well according to Square Enix's Tetsuya Nomura, "We're continuing work on Versus. Because all staff is hard at work on the game, please wait a little longer for a follow up report."
Seems that they're not willing to show or even talk about the game until it's close to being finished. But the fans want something, anything to reassure them this is still an actual game that will someday see a release. Or else we'll have another "The Last Guardian" on our hands.

Square-Enix reveals The 'World Ends With You' surprise; just an iOS remake
I should have known, I should have seen this coming. Square-Enix has a reputation for letting their fans down and they've done it again.
They put TWEWY characters in the new Kingdom Hearts game for the 3DS and fans began demanding a new game. Developers hinted that they were working on something related to The World Ends With You, and then Square put up a teaser site with a countdown that was clearly about the franchise. Everyone thought it had to be a sequel or else Square wouldn't be making such a big deal.
But no, the countdown ended and it turned out to be an iOS remake.
No one is mad because this is an iOS game, people are mad because Square played with our emotions... again. I guess I know how Mega Man fans feel like now.

OMG YES! The World Ends With You is getting a sequel!
No you're not dreaming we're getting a sequel to The World Ends With You. Square-Enix is preparing to announce a new game with a teaser site and a countdown. Long time TWEWY fans however will immediately recognize the art and music.
No platform has been announced but we should know as soon as the countdown reaches zero.
Kingdom Hearts 3D launches on July 31
Square-Enix has confirmed the release date for Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. The game hits north American 3DS's on July 31.

Square-Enix and Google team up for a cool April fools joke
Google and Square-Enix teamed up to make this 8-bit version of Google maps. It's all fun and games but I really REALLY want that NES cartridge so get to it Google.
In the mean time you can fool around with the trial version directly from your browser. You don't even have to plug in a controller too!
Kingdom Hearts 3D Japanese boxart revealed
This isn't the box for the 10th anniversary bundle but the solo package. Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance releases in Japan on March 29th. No word yet on Europe and North America.
