Welcome Back program ends Sunday July 3rd
If you haven't already downloaded your free games via Sony's "Welcome Back" program you'd better hurry the program ends tomorrow July 3rd. It's not only the games, it's also the free month of PlayStation Plus and the free PlayStation Home goodies.

Sony Begins PlayStation Network Restoration
Sony has started rolling out a new firmware update in preparation for the PSN restoration. They are restoring services in phases and by country to country. The first phase includes the following:
- Sign-in for PlayStation®Network and Qriocity services, including the resetting of passwords
- Restoration of online game-play across PS3 and PSP
- Playback rental video content, if within rental period, of PlayStation Network Video Delivery Service on PS3, PSP and MediaGo
- Music Unlimited powered by Qriocity, for current subscribers, on PS3 and PC
- Access to 3rd party services such as Netflix, Hulu, Vudu and MLB.tv
- 'Friends' category on PS3, including Friends List, Chat Functionality, Trophy Comparison, etc

EA Sports Complex in Playstation Home
Sony and EA have just announced a partnership to provide the EA SPORTS Complex within PS3's PlayStation Home community. Inside you'll be able to play new EA SPORTS multiplayer games, view leaderboards and interact with other fans while watching trailers and content from EA SPORTS games.

Red Bull Air Race Now Open

Playstation Home received some new content, the Red Bull Air Race space is now open for everyone. Unlike the other spaces that are currently out, you can actually do something fun. Americans also get some Diesel clothing and Ligne Roset furniture from the Mall.
