RUMOR - Monster Hunter game was to be announced at Monster Hunter Festa

There's a rumor floating around saying that there was supposed to be a Monster Hunter game announcement for the 3DS at this year's Monster Hunter Festa. The event was canceled after the recent earthquakes in Japan and so no announcement was made.

Capcom has promised a 3DS announcement next month so we might find out sooner rather than later.

Monster Hunter 3 has Wii graphics "like nothing you’ve seen" before

In addition, we now have underwater combat which is brand new to the series. So there are lots of sea monsters and things like that you can go after. Sounds like Monster Hunter 3 is going to be a beautiful looking game. Hype continues to grow as days pass by, I just hope we get to see a trailer or something at GDC.

Monster Hunter G Coming to Wii

Monster Hunter G (not Monster Hunter 3) will be coming to Japan this spring. According to Famitsu the Wii version is 77% done, will allow you to use PS2 or PSP controls, has widescreen support, and is a near identical port.
