Hands on with the Wii U console

As you can see it has everything you need, four usb ports, HDMI, and an SD card slot. There doesn't seem to be an Ethernet port which suggests this will most likely use WiFi just like the Wii. Although they haven't announced how much space it's going to have they did say that the Wii U will support external hard drives.

Keep in mind that from now until launch things could change and this might not be final hardware.

The Wii U is backwards compatible with the Wii and all it's accessories but not with the GameCube. This on the other hand is something that most likely will not change when the Wii U launches next year.
